At last I´m free from my persistent cold. Like magic my lust for life is back. No more runny nose, sore throat, cough and headache. The other day I finally had the strength to go out and enjoy the lovely sunny winter world. It felt so great. I´m back full of energy. Feeling invincible. Scenic Sunday

Yep, now it is equipped to party at Carpe Diem. Another year has passed so the blog is now two years! Carpe Diem was founded in September 2008 but due to technical failure, I had to construct a new "skeleton" in December 2008. A four-time cheer for Carpe Diem. Hurray, hurray, hurray, hurray!

I must take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful and amazing talented photo bloggers who has become my new cyberspace friends and my great inspiration. I want to thank you for visiting and commenting on so diligently. I am extremely happy every time someone leave their imprint.

It´s always interesting watching people managing the que system in crowded situations. Here, waiting for the train people did stand quite relaxed in a rather nice line. That was until the door was opened!!! It´s seems as if it´s very difficult restrain ones courtesy in a situation like this ;-). I never understand people behaving like this. I mean, everyone has it´s booked place on the train and it will not leave until everyone is seated. Scenic Sunday.

Every summer in Arvika, a small town in Sweden, they have this annual music festival, Arvika festivalen. Arvika is in general a quiet and calm, nearly sleepy place on earth. This changes immediately when all the young festival participants arrives. When it´s crowded and the hotels, youth hostels and campings are fully booked and you are in need of a sleeping-place it´s good to be inventive ;-).

The Christmas holiday has been lovely. We have had a nice quiet time at home me and my family and we had the time to be together with friends and relations. There have been time for a nice lie-in, reading, visit to the cinema and watching good films on the tv. We have had a lot of good things to eat and drink so long walks in the beautiful winter landscape have been necessary ;-). Jack Frost really come up to our wishes for a cold and white winter perfect for playing in the snow, skateing and skiing. As a perfect completion the New Year´s Eve was celebrated with a big party together with our dear friends. Now it´s a new year with a lot of expectations both at work and in the spare time. Always exciting to see what will come. I do look forward to share 2010 together with my cyberfriends all over the world. To have the opportunity to see all your amazing skills in photo and to be inspired by you. I still have two lovely days left on my holiday and I will enjoy every second of it. Hopefully there will be lovely sunny days inviting me and my Nikon for walks in the wonderful winterland. Scenic Sunday.

We have got an enormous quantity of snow the last couple of days so the nature looks like a christmas card right now. Yesterday I went for a photo safari with my Nikon. I just had to "immortalize" this lovely scenery at my home. Thank you Jack Frost for the best Christmas present in many years :-). Scenic Sunday.
