Last week during one of my days off from work the visit to the Liljevalchs konsthall, Stockholm´s most alluring exhibition setting, was a part of My World. This art venue was opened back in 1916 as the first independent public museum for contemporary art in Sweden. The building is the art of Carl Bergsten and is situated amidst the captivating surroundings of Djurgården Island in Stockholm.
Every year the opening starts with the famous jury-selected Spring Salon. I must admit I´m not a connoisseur of art. I do not often visit art museums or art openings. I think many artists often make work very difficult to interpret. At least for me. This visit was no exception.
