My World week 9
My World has been filled with television and winter games the last 17 days. I really loved following the Olympic games this time. Especially the cross-country skiing where we, Sweden, won three gold medals, two silver and two bronze. Our pride in alpine skiing, fabolous Anja Pärson, shook up every swede when crashing. Luckely she wasn´t bad injured and her last Olympic game gave her a bronze in ladies' super combined. But I think that the most thrilling this winter was when Anette Norberg and her swedish curling team defended the Olympic gold by beating Canada. I´m so impressed by all these sportsmen and women and their performances. Now the winter games are over and we have to look forward to the summer games in Stratford, London 2012.

It certainly was a fun Olympics with a lot action throughout.
Didn't follow the games, not many Belgian participants.
The winter games were fabulous and quite emotional on certain levels. How amazing it is that so many young people are so talented and able to compete in games such as these. I always miss them when they are over...
Helt underbar vinterbild!
Kram Randi
Congratulations. Only saw bits and pieces of it but I enjoyed it nevertheless.
Wonderful shot of colourful skiing boots!
Gillar också den här bilden, skön!
