The fingerprints are unique to each of us, the only identification that is. I had my fingerprints taken for a job had 3 years ago. I got the job, so I guess that my fingerprints were okay! It too a while for the ink to get off my fingers...
My husband used to do this for a living. Five years of live scanning fingerprints into the system. Everyone from preschool teachers to volunteers working about children and/or the aging.
